We're looking for an energetic self-starter with a consultative approach who is proactive in driving revenue and increasing client base. Candidates must be results-driven, have strong presentation skills and be committed to creating new business opportunities. In this role, you will need to understand and be able to articulate the overall business objectives of our website, outbound message programs, and the business-to-business value proposition to the advertising community.
Responsibilities:
- Engage new and existing advertising decision-makers
- Convey the value of how our eMedia programs supports driving brand awareness and increasing revenue
- Proactively prospect, qualify, and grow an active account list
- Develop and cultivate deep relationships with agencies and media buyers
- Identify and understand trends within client markets and industries
- Regularly pitch advertising agencies on new sponsorship opportunities
- Proactively report detailed client research and industry specific information
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree
- Experience selling or buying display media
- Digital media expertise in web standards, technology trends, and user-centered design
- Strong understanding of industry trends, technologies and pricing models
- 2+ years of experience in online media sales or strategy or similar role. The ideal candidate has an agency background in media planning or buying
