  John Catalanotto and Greg Frohnapfel began ProFaux® in Akron, Ohio, in 1989 and have conducted over 1,000 workshops throughout the United States and abroad. In addition to designing and teaching special in-house programs, they have consulted and written manuals for clients such as The Faux Finisher, General Motors, Paramount Studios, Sherwin-Williams, 20th Century Fox, The White House and more. Proving that they can do what they teach, they swept three prestigious awards in a single year at the International Picture-It-Painted-Professionally Contest sponsored by the PDCA. In fact, John and Greg’s Interior Commercial project in 1994 is still the only PIPP entry to ever take a perfect score of 100!
