Class Description: Have you ever wondered how to properly prepare, paint, glaze, stain, and embellish existing kitchen cabinets? Then this class is for you! Redoing existing kitchen cabinets is very profitable business. Students in this fast paced class will learn how to properly prepare existing kitchen cabinets to accept paint and faux treatments. Proper preparation is the key to any successful finish. We will discuss how to properly prepare existing kitchen cabinets. After this discussion students will create 4 finishes on 4 separate cabinet doors. Sealing the doors with the proper products will be discussed but will be the student’s responsibility outside of class (due to drying time of the finishes and the length of the class). All of the knowledge learned can be transferred to furniture finishes, too. Be a part of this hot, hot market!
