Class Description: Effect Pigments. Learn what "effect pigments" are, how they work and how to design finishes around them. The class will cover metal powders (aluminum and bronze), iridescent (mica) and interference (color-shifting) pigments commonly used for metallic and patina effects. See examples of pigment manufacturers samples and sales props, and more technical information.

· Paint with different types of paint made from different types of pigments, aluminum and mica

Supplies to Bring: Palette knife, putty knife or texture blades, cotton rag, China bristle brushes, sea sponge, softening brush, any other favorite brushes and tools.
