Class Description: Learn to imitate the beautiful finishes of European carved plaster using layered lime plasters. The organic nature of lime plasters satisfies the current desire in the marketplace for "green" products that are durable and aesthetically appealing. Learn proper surface preparation for lime plasters, then use combinations of Travertino and Marmorino plasters to create your carved finishes. Entire buildings in Europe are executed with these finishes, however, your market will no doubt use "Tadeleze" as a focal point on surfaces such as fireplaces, mirror frames, panels and other architectural details. Samples are executed on MDF.
