The Decorative Arts Show is proud to announce that The Professional Decorative Painters Association (PDPA) has endorsed their efforts to bring you a higher quality of education. Together we are focusing on helping the professional better understand what a full decorative painting education entails. This year we have adopted Subjects and Activities to our class offering descriptions so that you will know exactly what to expect and can then assess your personal skill level for an appropriate match.

As many attendees are new to The Decorative Arts Show including The Faux Event, please note that there are supplies you should bring with you if you are planning to take classes.  Each class description will indicate the supplies provided or requested by the Instructor, but in addition, please bring:

  • Notebook
  • Pens/pencil
  • Sharpie marker and labels (for placing name on boards)
  • Assorted artist brushes
  • Assorted chip brushes
  • Brush cleaner
  • Personal trowels or blades (depending on classes)
  • Plastic plates
  • Plastic storage bags
  • Paper towels
  • Painter’s blue masking tape
